About this trip
What is the Everest Base Camp trek?
The Everest Base Camp trek is a 14-day teahouse trek in Nepal's Khumbu region. You fly to Lukla, walk through Sherpa villages to Namche Bazaar, and reach Base Camp at 5,364 m with a sunrise climb of Kala Patthar (5,545 m) for the classic view of Mount Everest. Holiday Maker Nepal runs this route with licensed Sherpa guides, planned acclimatisation, and permits included.
Who is this trek for?
You need reasonable fitness and 5 to 6 hours of walking on most days. Prior high-altitude experience helps but is not required if you follow the acclimatisation schedule. We brief every group in Kathmandu before the Lukla flight and adjust pacing when altitude symptoms appear.
