About this collection
Why travellers choose our mice
Nepal is an inspiring destination for meetings, incentives, conferences, and events — combining world-class hospitality in Kathmandu with unique venue options from heritage palaces to lakeside resorts in Pokhara. Our MICE team handles end-to-end planning: venue sourcing, AV and staging, delegate transport, team-building treks, gala dinners, and post-event leisure programs. From corporate retreats to association congresses, we deliver professional event management with the warmth and flexibility that only a local DMC can provide.
Corporate events at scale
Our reference point is a 128-person Microlabs product launch across Nagarkot and Kathmandu in 2018: room blocks, staging, ground transport, and leisure extensions handled as one accountable operator. Smaller executive retreats and association congresses use the same desk.
Venue options range from heritage properties in the Valley to lakeside resorts in Pokhara. We coordinate Nepal Tourism Board registration, local permits, and bilingual staff where delegates require it.
Kathmandu, Nagarkot, and Pokhara as MICE venues
Kathmandu's five-star properties, including the Hyatt, Marriott, and Crowne Plaza, seat conferences from 50 to 500 delegates with in-house AV teams and dedicated event coordinators. Heritage hotels in the old city offer smaller venue rooms with Newari courtyard settings that work well for board dinners and executive retreats.
Nagarkot, forty-five minutes from Kathmandu airport, suits residential corporate programmes that need separation from the city without a long transfer. Mountain-view meeting rooms and team activities in the surrounding hills run comfortably over two or three days. Pokhara lakeside properties offer the largest ballroom capacities outside Kathmandu and suit incentive groups that want active day programmes alongside formal sessions.
We coordinate with the Nepal Tourism Board on event certification and can provide DTIs (Destination Tourism Incentive statements) for corporate travel managers. Group sizes from ten to five hundred are within our operational experience.
Incentives and hybrid programmes
Incentive groups often combine a conference day with a short trek, rafting, or cultural gala. Everest Base Camp flight incentives, Pokhara paragliding days, and Chitwan jungle drives are built into programmes for groups who need an experience Nepal is uniquely positioned to deliver.
We price transport, meals, venue hire, and activity blocks transparently on one proposal with itemised breakdowns. Incentive budgets for Nepal typically stretch further than comparable programmes in Southeast Asia because domestic costs remain competitive.
Post-event extensions to Chitwan, Pokhara, or a pilgrimage circuit stay on the same invoice and the same coordination desk. Enquiries go to a named MICE coordinator, not a general inbox.
