Holiday Maker Nepal

We give Nepal like never before.

Holiday Maker Nepal Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. is a Kathmandu-based operator built on commitment, innovation, and routes we run ourselves. Since 1999 we have focused on safety, detail, and holidays that travellers remember. That is the promise behind our slogan: we give Nepal like never before. Since 1999, we have planned trips for more than 5,000 travellers from India, Bangladesh, the Gulf, Europe, the UK, and the US.

Our story

Built on these trails since 1999.

Our story begins when Mahesh Kumar Koirala (Dipak) stepped away from a senior hotel role to open Holiday Makers Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. in Durbarmarg. He had managed one of the Keyman group hotels; the shift to travel was deliberate. Every itinerary would be written in-house, every route walked with our own guides, and every booking handled from one desk.

Pilgrimage tours followed in 2013, starting with Kailash Mansarovar and circuits through Janakpur, Muktinath, and Pashupatinath. Outbound programmes launched in 2017, with PATA membership and corporate groups to Thailand, then family tours to London and Scotland. MICE arrived at scale in 2018 with a 128-person Microlabs launch in Nagarkot and Kathmandu.

Trade shows became part of the rhythm: PATA Travel Mart in Langkawi and Kazakhstan, World Travel Market in London, and SATTE Delhi in 2025 as hosted buyers for India, Bali, the Maldives, and Europe. Today we serve inbound travellers from India, Bangladesh, the Gulf, Europe, the UK, and the US, and outbound clients from Kathmandu with the same accountability from first WhatsApp to final airport drop.

Detail is the product.

Mahesh Kumar Koirala (Dipak)

Managing Director

Tourism and hospitality have always been the foundation of how we serve travellers. Since the company began, I have treated detail as non-negotiable: permits, lodge quality, puja timing, and the call before departure.

Two decades in this industry have taught us that trust is built on execution, not slogans. Our relationships with hotels, resorts, and partners across Nepal let us tailor journeys that fit dietary needs, mobility limits, and family pace.

We have expanded into outbound tours so Kathmandu clients can book India, Bali, the Maldives, and Europe with the same desk they already use for Everest and Muktinath. Thank you for choosing us. We look forward to planning yours.

How we work

Four desks, one accountable team.

Pilgrimage led by people who know the rites

Since 2013 we have run Mansarovar, Muktinath, Janakpur, and Pashupatinath circuits with leaders who coordinate aarti, permits, and senior-traveller logistics, not generic sightseeing.

Outbound from Kathmandu, not a reseller desk

Thailand, India, Bali, the Maldives, and Europe are sold from our own operations team. Quotes are written in Kathmandu; partners are vetted over years of trade-show and fam-trip work.

MICE and corporate groups at scale

From a 128-person Microlabs launch in 2018 to division conferences in Nagarkot, we plan room blocks, AV, and ground transport as one accountable operator.

On the trade-show floor, not just the brochure

PATA marts, WTM London, and SATTE Delhi are where we meet buyers face to face. Affiliations are active memberships, not logo rows on a footer.
