About this collection

Why travellers choose our adventure

From white-water rafting on the Trishuli and Bhote Koshi rivers to paragliding over Pokhara, jungle safaris in Chitwan, bungee jumping, and mountain biking, Nepal offers adventure for every adrenaline level. Our adventure packages pair certified operators with seamless transport, safety equipment, and expert guides — so you can focus on the thrill while we handle logistics. Combine multiple activities into a single multi-sport itinerary or add adventure days to a trekking or cultural journey.

Activities and where they run

Raft the Trishuli or Bhote Koshi, paraglide above Pokhara, bungee at the border canyon, or add a Chitwan jeep safari after your trek. We book operators we have inspected, not the highest commission.

Adventure days can bolt onto trekking or cultural tours: a rest-day raft after Annapurna, a mountain flight before Everest, or a Pokhara activity block for families who want adrenaline without a multi-week walk.

Mountain flights and aerial experiences

The Everest Mountain Flight from Kathmandu airport is a one-hour scenic flight that passes within visual range of eight of the world's highest peaks including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Aircraft are small (typically 18 to 40 seats) and every passenger gets a window seat with a Himalayan view on one side. Flights depart early morning when thermals are calm and visibility is highest. The season runs year-round with occasional cancellations in monsoon.

A hot air balloon over the Pokhara valley covers the Annapurna skyline and Phewa Lake in a one-hour flight at dawn. Weight limits and minimum age requirements apply; we confirm these with each guest at booking. Paragliding from Sarangkot above Pokhara is the most popular single-day adventure activity in Nepal, with flights landing on the Pokhara lakeside. We use operators with internationally certified instructors.

Rafting grades and river options

Trishuli River runs at Grade III to Grade IV and is the most accessible rafting from Kathmandu, with a three-hour drive to the put-in and the option of an overnight camp on the riverbank. It suits first-time rafters and families with older teenagers. Bhote Koshi River near the Tibetan border reaches Grade IV to Grade V and runs in a narrow gorge; it suits experienced paddlers looking for more technical water. Seti River near Pokhara offers calmer Grade II water for families with young children or guests who want the experience without serious rapids.

All our rafting operators are registered with Nepal Mountaineering Association and carry government-certified safety equipment including helmets, life jackets, and throw bags at the standard ratio. Safety kayakers accompany all Bhote Koshi departures.

Safety and age limits

Minimum ages vary by activity; we state them clearly on every quote. Parental consent and fitness questions are handled before payment, not at the jump point. Bungee jumping at The Last Resort requires minimum age 18 and a maximum weight of 120 kilograms. Paragliding tandem flights require minimum age 10 with parental accompaniment for minors.

Equipment checks, briefing language, and backup transport are part of the package. If weather cancels a flight or raft, your specialist reschedules from Kathmandu. We do not offer refunds for weather cancellations on activities where the operator cannot control conditions, but we will hold credit for the activity to be run the next suitable day.
