Pokhara is a top destination for adventure lovers, and ziplining is one of the most thrilling experiences the city offers. This high-altitude zip line descends from the scenic hilltop of Sarangkot and features one of the steepest and longest zip lines in the world. With a 56% gradient, a cable length of 1.8 kilometers, and a vertical drop of 600 meters (2000 feet), the ride reaches speeds of up to 140 km/h. This makes it one of the fastest and most extreme zip lines globally. Built with advanced safety systems, the ride follows international safety standards to ensure both thrill and security.
The trip begins with participants arriving at the designated meeting point in Lakeside, Pokhara. From there, a shared vehicle will transfer all riders to the launch site at Sarangkot, a well-known viewpoint overlooking the city and Himalayan ranges.
Once at the launch pad, participants receive a safety briefing and are securely fitted with harnesses and other safety gear. The zip ride begins from an altitude of approximately 5400 feet, dropping nearly 2000 feet over a 1.8 km-long cable. The ride duration is under two minutes but delivers a powerful adrenaline rush with speeds of up to 140 km/h.
After landing safely near Hemja, riders are transported back to the Lakeside area where the activity concludes. Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the meeting point.
