Mahesh started his quest to realise Nepal Holiday Makers dream after resigning from his post as managing director of one of the best hotels in the Keyman group. Mansarovar Tour was how NHM began offering pilgrimage tours. During the tour, Mahesh by himself leaded the group of travellers. Back then, Janaki Temple, Muktinath, and Pashupatinath were all included in the pilgrimage packages (Janakpur).
The services of Nepal Holiday Maker were expanded, and they now include international vacation packages. A corporate group travelling to Thailand was the first group, which was followed by three family tours travelling to London and Scotland. Along with that, Nepal Holiday Makers joined PATA Nepal Chapter as an active member.
With a 3-day tour and conference in Nagarkot and Kathmandu, NHM managed a product and division launch for Microlabs Limited. Despite this being NHM and team's first MICE event, they managed to run the seminar smoothly and with purpose.
As a first association with PATA, NHM took part in PATA travel mart hosted at Langkawi. The visit marked Nepal Holiday Makers presence in Malaysian, Chinese and Singapore market. The visit marked NHM’s first ever participation in international trade shows.
Nepal Holiday Makers took part in the world’s biggest travel trade show, World Travel Market. NHM received the chance to introduce Nepalese tourism in European and UK market and developed business tie up with travel companies from UK.

Shutdown due to Covid
After the long wait due to pandemic, NHM took initiative of being physically present at the biggest Travel trade show. The participation was led by Operations manager Dipson Koirala and Managing Director himself Dipak Koirala.
The company welcomed the return of Mr. Dipson Koirala, who took the lead as Operations Manager for both inbound and outbound tours. Under his visionary leadership, the company experienced significant growth and emerged as a leading outbound tour agency in Nepal. Digital marketing has played a key role in the company’s overall marketing strategy, complemented by long-standing relationships with corporate clients.
Nepal Holiday Makers was represented by Mr. Mahesh Koirala and Dipson Koirala at SATTE Delhi 2025 as hosted buyers, aiming to connect with outbound sellers as part of the company’s strategy to penetrate the Nepalese outbound tour market. The key holiday packages promoted by NHM included India, Bali, the Maldives, and Europe.
